Unredeemed
When I heard this new song by Selah a couple days, I was moved to tears. My first thoughts were of the five young girls we are caring for at My Refuge House. This song is not only about the future (Heaven - see Revelation 21), but it's also about the present (His Kindgom here on earth) as He is restoring creation as we speak. We are all invited to join Him in this work, and I am humbled to witness His amazing grace at My Refuge House every day. Nothing is truly broken, no pain is wasted by our Redeemer. He can and will restore it all. I am reminded of Joseph, who was also sold to human traffickers, but in the end was able to say - whatever man intended for evil, God intended it for the good (Genesis 50:19). Everday, I have to believe this. Everyday, I get to see this. What part of His redeeming and restoring work do you get to see? What places are you seeing grace so amazing? Pay attention.....and just watch and see.
"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." (1 Peter 5:10)
