Mighty To Save

We had a wonderful evening with some great friends tonight. Good food, good conversation, all while the kids (9 total) played with each other. Towards the end of the evening, our friend, James shared a worship praise song - Mighty to Save - and said that he thought about us and the work that is set before us at IJM. The song was one of annointing, reminding all of us that we serve an awesome Savior, who is both mighty and loving. As James played this song, I closed my eyes, while having the knowledge that I have nothing to fear wash over me. Anyone that has the power to conquer death is a force to be reckoned with. It is this power that we will cling to as our shield, protector, and our joy this moment and in our days ahead. We praise God for Godly friends, especially ones that know how to encoruage and play worship guitar real well...
