Rest

This evening we received the telephone call that my Auntie Beth had just entered into eternal rest with her Jesus. She was only 61. Of course, we share in the deep sadness. When she was with us for those few weeks last month during her radiation therapy, we witnessed extraordinary strength and courage. She finished the race strong. Cancer did not win here. Faith did. We will miss her deeply and know that there will be a huge void in the lives of the entire Bermejo Clan in San Carlos. We will travel there to join the family tomorrow morning and help with the preparations for memorial service for the upcoming weekend. My father will also be traveling from California to join his siblings grieve the youngest of the nine.
