You Lead Me To Green Meadows

Below are some photos of My Refuge House. The property is large - 1.3 hectares and the residence is about 600 square meters. The backyard, as you will see below is lush green with a meadow full of fruit trees, orchids and plumeria flowers, a vegetable garden which the girls keep, clucking hens with their chicks, and a hungry cow, who likes to chew grass all day long. We have a growing army of prayer warriors and servants all over the world who are making Refuge a reality.

Greetings from My Refuge House!

It is my joy to serve as the new Clinical Director here at MRH. Having only been on the job since May 2009, I can already tell you that there are many beautiful and exciting things happening here. We are committed to ensuring that My Refuge House is truly a safe place where each girl will be cared for well. Most importantly, our hope is that each of them as precious daughters of the King experience the love of their Heavenly Father. There are also many things we envision for MRH where each girl will experience a hope and a future. Not only do we seek to set a high standard of care for exploited young women here, but we are looking for different ways to create the Refuge that these girls so desperately need in their lives right now.

If you go through Scripture and tease out all the verses that have the word "refuge" in it, you will find that it is not only a place, but also a Person. So many times in the Psalms (like Psalms 46:1), God is declared as "My Refuge!" I love the fact that both a shelter, a Person and a people can be a safe place. That is what and who we seek to become here. You have chosen a worthy name and a cause to support and pray for. These are exciting times. We invite you to be part of it in any way God calls you.
